“Where did you find this place?”
“I saw a girl draw it on her napkin in a cafe.”
“Does that make us intruders?”
"Secrets love being found.”
“But she forgot the sky…”
“Help me build it, pick a number.”
“Seven”
That’s lucky”
“Said who?”
“The one who named the Big Dipper.”
“Do you think he was lonely when he looked at the stars?”
“I think everyone is lonely when they look at the stars.”
“Maybe… Truth or Dare?”
“Dare.”
“Why?”
“Because I don't think my truth is ready yet.”
“Me neither.”
“What if I can’t do my dare?”
“Then you can try. I dare you to take my hand. I dare you to run without looking back. When the fog rolls in I dare you to walk through it. A long, long time from now when the magic is used up and we are no longer happy, I dare you to leave.”
“What if the happy doesn’t go away?:
“It will.”
“What if we never met?
“We did.”
“But what if we didn’t?”
“But we did.”
“Do you ever think about time?”
“Which part?”
“All of it. Knowing that this will only happen right now and never again. That everyone you know is going down a one way street until one day they won’t any more. Doesn’t it scare you?”
“What about the memories?”
“Which part?”
“Where do they go when we die?”
“Well..most of them go with us but the special ones, the ones that moved us, I think those stick around a little while in places like these.”
“Do you think that helps?”
“Not really, but something is always more than nothing.”
“Can I?”
“Can you what?”
“Take your hand.”
“What if I don’t know where to lead?”
“Then we can find it together.”
“What if we never find it?”
“Then we tried.”
“Are you scared?"
“Have you met someone who isn’t?”
